A laptop running a fully patched version of Microsoft’s Vista operating system was the second and final machine to fall in a hacking contest that pitted the security of Windows, OS X and Ubuntu Linux. With both a Windows and Mac machine felled, only the Linux box remained standing following the three-day competition.

Recently was released Wordpress 2.5.1. In this version was fixed 70-80 bugs from 2.5 but left some fun things.
According to numerous reports by individuals and a ticket filed in the WordPress Trac when a user resets their password, the password reset link received in the email does not work.
Bug-fix will be included in 2.5.2 version.

There have been three large cracks in the near past which should make everyone worry who bases his or her IT on Microsoft’s products: PlayForSure, Outlook Express with Hotmail, and OOXML in new MS Office 2007.
